Scott Campbell of Detroit’s Nebula Records

Put your headphones on and get ready for some sweet 7″ psychedelia! I got this super rare record when I used to work at a record store in the Detroit area about 10 years ago.

Released on Nebula Records in 1973, this unamed project features some tasty psychedelic riffs and trippy guitars. Scott Campbell founded Nebula Records in 1973 while still a teenager. The label released cuts by Detroit artists The Sillies, Iggy Pop, MC5 & more.

I haven’t seen this anywhere else, and I’m sure it was a limited release. Enjoy.

Wow i never hear the B-side. Great great ^^ but i can’t find Astral Spirit and Quantary And Solution on any CD. Do you know if these songs were released on a CD ?

Actually it’s a 7″. Yes, normally they are 45rpm. If I remember correctly, one side might by 33 1/3 and the other is 45. Weird. I’ll have to double check that though.

I did a more polished version of this a few months later and took it to the major UK labels in September 1974. They all said the same thing: “If you could have brought us this two years ago…”.
